Meeting Details

We meet once a quarter at the South Mandarin Branch Library (except in November, due to elections). We try our best to keep the meeting at one hour and guarantee everyone leaves with a smile on their face knowing they helped to make a real difference in our community.

Two non-profits (that were randomly selected prior to the meeting) will present their organization for 5 minutes and then be given 3 minutes to answer questions from our members. After all presentations, the members vote for which one they would like to help the most.

While we count the votes, the number one choice from the previous quarter’s meeting will give a short presentation on how they used the donation money.

Finally, we will present the first choice organization with 60% of the contribution total and the 2nd choice with 40% of the total. We will also send the first choice organization’s name to the Richard M. Shultz Family Foundation for the opportunity to match their total donation.
